Gardening Fun!

I love the idea of gardening. Growing my own food would be an awesome accomplishment (especially since my thumb is so brown:) I have tried to garden in the past, but had no success. This time I did a little more research and bought some organic seeds and soil. I also bought the little starter pots...

My little guy loves any activity with dirt and water, so this was right up his alley. He basically filled the pots with dirt on his own and watered it in...

I bought alot of different seeds to choose from that were supposed to be easy to grow in the spring in Florida and he chose to plant the zucchini, eggplant, spinach, and lettuce in the first pots. Pretty good choices, I thought.

We have been spritzing them everyday and the lettuce is already starting to sprout. Hopefully we can keep them alive and well until harvest time!

My little guy really enjoyed this and is already asking if it's time to eat them yet. I hope we are successful and he can actually pick his own food soon. My husband is going to build us a raised garden this week to transplant the sprouts in. So excited for that!
